How to switch off a sync

This help article covers how to turn off a sync with losing any data (follow these steps for switching off the old sage desktop syncs).

See below instructions on how to turn off a sync. By turning off a sync you will not lose any of the previously synced data, turning it off will effectively convert the data into a "manual upload".

Edit client, click on the pencil next to 'data synchronisation', select option 2 'from current automatic sync to manual upload'.

For periods which have not yet been done but may have data in them due to the sync eg. 2024. When it comes to preparing this period you will be able to just click "Replace bookkeeping data" and this will replace the old sync data that was there with your nominal ledger for the year.
