Reviewing

This help article goes through some best practice guidance for reviewing of a year end accounts file.


  • Ensure checklists are signed off in a timely manner and not left until the end.

  • All review notes should be left as "To-do's" on a file.

  • All client communication and meetings should be documented and filed on Silverfin.

Manager review

  • Manager review should include all reconciliations/templates in a file. This means that the CRM can focus on the larger / higher risk areas.

  • Use the workflow review screen to review the file.

  • Ensure preparer is following best practice guidance.

  • LLP only - All LLP's need a technical review before being sent to client.

CRM review

  • CRM's only need to review larger / higher risk areas.
