Reviewing
This help article goes through some best practice guidance for reviewing of a year end accounts file.
- Ensure checklists are signed off in a timely manner and not left until the end.
- All review notes should be left as "To-do's" on a file.
- All client communication and meetings should be documented and filed on Silverfin.
Manager review
- Manager review should include all reconciliations/templates in a file. This means that the CRM can focus on the larger / higher risk areas.
- Use the workflow review screen to review the file.
- Ensure preparer is following best practice guidance.
- LLP only - All LLP's need a technical review before being sent to client.
CRM review
- CRM's only need to review larger / higher risk areas.
